Nature just laughed and amazed me. I went out to Mill Neck, Long Island last Sunday thinking maybe I'd get get a nice walk and no images, and walked into this ...

yes the fall was late coming this year. unfortunately there has been high winds in toronto and alot of leaves fell too soon. these are fantasitc photos - well done.

Yes, timing is everything in these affairs - I was truly lucky! Glad you're enjoying them as I am.
Crazeazn: if by PP you mean post-processing, I use basic Levels, Curves and Hue/Saturation (saturation only - I don't like messing with the hues - feels evil ) adjustment layers in Photoshop to tweak my baseline raw development in ACR. In some of these where the sky was on the sun-side, I added a second Curves layer to help bring under control the huge dynamic range between the bright sunlit sky and unlit tree trunk shadows. |
