Given the very high price and availability of NAM adaptor, is there any plan for Conurus to release their own version of C645 to EOS adaptor? |

With an alliance forged between Metabones and Conurus, we are currently under discussion on a standalone, off-the-shelf Contax 645 autofocus lens to Canon EF adapter. However, as of today, Metabones has not formally committed to this project yet. Please write to Metabones at if you would like to petition them and make it known to them the importance of this adapter. Thank you!
And also, please understand that by necessity our R&D operates with a certain degree of secrecy. We will not communicate anything about our road map that we are not 100% certain about, because we do not want to promise you something and then disappoint you by renegading on our promise. At times we may appear unwilling to disclose any meaningful information about our future plans but I hope you would understand our situation, too. |

Please let me know when it's available! How long does the current NAM-1 conversion to EOS take? |

Currently a conversion takes approximately 6 months. |

I wait for the release of the C645-EF mount adapter, too. |

I recently saw a demo of an EOS version online here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151072082125834&set=o.124177437657302&type=1&theater
It was apparently working for aperture control, though not for autofocus control. Did you make this? Or do you know who might have done?

Must be a facebook thing. Here's a screenshot of the link:

Kako Ito is in Tokyo, Japan.
The Red Epic has a Canon mount, the Contax 645 lens has an adapter to that. Any idea where this adapter came from?
(For my purposes, a Nikon mount would be even better. I could use the lenses on both my Epic and D800.

I think that is a Contax NAM-1 adapter modified to Canon EF mount by us. Thanks for sharing this impressive picture!
