Hello,
It would be better to get the adapter with caps in order to store it more easily and avoid dust inside when not used.

Yes that's a good point! I have been discussing this with Metabones since the day when the Smart Adapter was introduced into the market. Their answer was they would custom-make caps for the adapter. The mold/tool-making takes time so unfortunately current customers will need to procure their own caps for now. |
