Is there a conversion available for this lens and if so how much is it?

Thanks Richard

seems like good deal, but then its F4 ... not sure if it worth the conversion, especially canon tele optics are very sharp

The prices for the unconverted lenses range from $1700 to $4000. It's f/4, which isn't f/2.8 but if it gives the Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 a run for its money (and the Canon is very sharp), then the 1.4x gives you a 400 f/4 and a 560 f/5.6 with AF, which might be worth it. And it may be a more affordable choice than the EF 400 f/2.8, which is wonderful but a beast and $6000. I'm curious whether advances in quality of ISO 3200 and 6400 on the 5D Mk II might make f/4 just fast enough....
