I for one want to see a thread, a blog or a news section that reflect the newest update about mount availbility. For now I want to order a mount for my 24-85, but there is no information about its availability. I also have three other N mounts lenses that I am looking forward to future conversion, as soon as the mount is made available. What do you think?

Sorry, we are in the middle of a major update and we are not taking any orders for the moment.

cc999zero,

Don't take this personally, but good "net-iquette" is to avoid typing in all caps. It reads like you are mad and shouting.

Hello,

Just joined the forum as I have just purchased a N24-85 in hopes to convert it for use on my 5D.

Conurus, I was wondering what the turn-around time is for the conversion and also if I can drop it off in person when I am in Vancouver. (I live on the Vancouver Island)

Many thanks and great work. Its hard to express how excited I am! Very Happy

Thank you for joining us! We have probably the largest online community dedicated to Contax N here - although most of us are mounting the N lenses on Canon bodies. Very Happy

Most lenses are modified within 1 week, excluding shipping time. The bottleneck is definitely in shipping, which takes about 1 week in each direction depending on where you are located. Please email or PM me and I will forward the shipment instructions.

If you are local, it is possible to perform the conversion while you wait, but the downside is you would have to pay PST. It would take me a couple of hours to finish the installation, and I could do this on weeknights or during the weekend.

Thanks!

My apologies to everyone but lately, I have not been able to meet the 1 week target. It takes about 2 to 4 weeks to convert a lens now.

The primary reason for the delay is that I have begun testing every lens converted for AF accuracy and that lengthens the time for each conversion significantly. The seasonal effect of more people doing conversions in summer is not helping. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Thanks for the update. I'll adjust my plans accordingly.

Since you are testing the AF for each lens I assume that the "F" beside the AF Test box on my lens' status page means "Fail" Sad .....or is it "Fine" Confused ?

Sorry but I have an issue with semiconductor shortage. I expect this to get alleviated in August. Thank you for your patience in the mean time.

Ditto on the question above. Bo-Ming, when do anticipate the next best time to send a lens in for conversion will be?
