I've seen a mount conversion like this before done to a C/Y 100/2.8 Makro. I don't know how reliable such a conversion is in terms of infinity focus, etc., but it sure looks cool!
The Anniversary 85/1.2 in the ebay link looks to have been done in a similar style. The Canon AF contacts are just an AF confirm chip as there are absolutely no AF motors in any C/Y mount and thus no way to drive the AF. It's still just manual focus with your hands.
I'd be interested in knowing how the conversion was done. |

so this is just a permanently attached "AF Adapter". I wonder if this was done before all of the adapters became available. It must have taken some nerve to have such an expensive lens converted. It looks pretty well used. |
