I am posting this message on the forum in the hope of receiving a response to my various requests for an update on progress relating to my 17-35mm lens which was unfortunately went missing after it was sent by Conurus to Kyocera in Japan for AF motor repair.
I have emailed to request an update on the position a number times over the last three months, but have not received any response since last hearing from you on May 15th, when you advised that you were waiting for a response from Canada Post and were still hoping that the lens would be found in their system.
You advised in your email on May 14th that if it did not turn up you would plan to pursue an insurance claim with Canada Post and that "if the parcel was lost, we will compensate the cost of the lens". I believe it is reasonable to assume that the lens is not going to show up again by now and have also provided you with details of the original cost of the lens to assist any claim you are pursuing with Canada Post, as requested.
I have resorted to making this Forum post as I am concerned you may not be seeing my emails for some reason, given the lack of any response to my various requests for an update since your last email in May.
Many thanks and I look forward to hopefully hearing back from you soon to resolve this matter. |
