| Hi all! Just wanted to run this one by you all....I have a Planar 85/1.4 and was just curious if the sound coming form the focusing motor is loud compared to the 50 1.4 or any of the other lenses converted to focus with Canon slr's? My Planar 85/1.4 has a loud kind of grinding sound to it, but performs fine. If any of you have the 85/1.4 please share your thoughts on the sound factor when focusing. Thanks! |

Yes, N85 focusing gear is very loud , nothing wrong with this lens.
The lodest is makro N100 and N85 is the second .
