I understand that an adapter to use Nikon G type (no aperture ring) lenses on a Sony e-mount is under development. Do you have an ETA for this adapter.
I would also like a Hasselbald /Emount adapter, but I suppose there is not a big market for that one. )

I spoke with Metabones and they are okay with me publicly saying they are working on Nikon G to NEX. Although it will not be smart and it will have no electronics, this upcoming product will have the best aperture ring available on the market and also a surprise feature that we will let you know later. |

Thanks, very much. That's exactly what I am looking for. I would be using MF with the Nikon lenses rather than autofocus.
I'll keep watching this thread for further news. Are you taking pre-orders?

Is there any further news about the ETA for this adapter?
Thanks

It will be nice to get as minima the stabilisator working with G lens.
Many Nikon G lens are stabilized and increase a lot handle shot .
Focus aperture is less important my way of shooting |

I have seen the Metabones prototype. It's got a large, well-marked aperture ring that is made accurately. The real product is around the corner.
Sorry no electronics so no VR. _________________ I am a bird and I uncovered the E, EF and N-mount communication protocols! |
