My 100 Makro just returned with the update and upon some quick initial tests, looks like focus is a-okay! Thanks!

Ahhh... wine and water. What a combo. My neighbor's son has a winery in Salem, Oregon called St. Innocent. Can't be delivered and sold in Wisconsin due to arcane labeling and distribution laws, maybe its available where you are. I hear it's good!

Got to look for that St. Innocent. We have government-owned liquor stores - that's how socialist we are.
Maybe unlawful to hinder interstate trade like that... right?
I am not a drinker by any measure, and very ignorant when it comes to wine. But the Paris CDG airport always sells all these wines from Bordeaux and I couldn't find something different. This is usually too sweet for me. I prefer a dryer taste, even a little pungent is fine.

If my wife gets a hankering for some St. Innocent, we can always get some from my neighbor. Every fall, he and his wife head out to Oregon to help with the harvest and they bring back some that is ready from previous years. (They're in their 80's BTW)
You might like a Shiraz/Sirah variety. Very dry, almost earthlike, you can practically taste the oak casks. I don't drink anymore, but that was my fav as the sweet wines always reminded me of high school too much (back then, the age for alcohol was 18 )
