We can neither confirm nor deny whether it works at this point. Sorry.
[Update: image stabilization is working. See this demo.]

Great news on your work towards producing a functional NEX adapter for Canon's EF lenses. Count me as one more interested customer. It will be wonderful to use my EF and converted N on my NEX-5N. Continued success, |

It would be even greater using an 'unconverted' N lens on NEX body!
I would buy immediately an adapter from NEX to n-mount.

Being the fifth original member of this forum and one of the first happy customers, I have been extremely gratified to see the progress made over the last few years. The NEX adapter will undoubtedly be a major step forward. I understand that Sony is working on a full-frame version of their mirrorless NEX line with a hybrid mount. This would allow mounting of existing NEX lenses and the image cropped to APS, but also allow the mounting of full-frame Alpha lenses. If these rumors come to fruition, I hope Conurus will take advantage of their know-how and we can use Canon EF full-frame lenses with autofocus on fullframe NEX. Will Canon itself make a move into mirrorless?

Thanks engel001! It has been more than 5 years already and thank you for still watching us. I remember every early adopter very well and thank you for your patronage and support during our incubation stage. Without you and other early customers Conurus would not have been where it is today. _________________ I am a bird and I uncovered the E, EF and N-mount communication protocols! |

We tentatively schedule to make an official annoucement by the end of next week (January 21).
"Tentative" is the keyword here. Fingers crossed. _________________ I am a bird and I uncovered the E, EF and N-mount communication protocols! |

I have no idea what number I am for signing up, but I am extremely eagerly awaiting to hear the announcement. I really hope these adapters aren't too outrageously priced, but I know as soon as word gets out they will probably sell like hotcakes. |

It is the most exciting news for the new year! Even more exciting then every news from CES. Reserve one for me, I certainly need one.
Great job, Conurus! |

Hello,
Maybe I missed it , but did Contax N lens to Sony NEX E mount solution come out...or is it a two stage process (convert to Canon EF and then adapt to Sony)?
