Hi! New member interested in the Contax N 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 conversion to Canon EF for use on EOS 5D. Joined specifically to receive future emails about product availability, hope all supply troubles are soon resolved. No rush for me, don't even have the lens yet but find it tempting:).
Best regards,
Neal

Hi, my name is Eric and I am a Dutch photographer. Please let me know when the 645 to EF adapter is available!? I'm looking forward using my 645-lenses on my Canon too! Keep up the good work and thanks!
Best to you all!

Just to say Hi!

By the way, I have bought a N 17-35, but the AF is unfunctionable. Could it be converted for use on Canon 5D Mk II still. I don't mind if there is no AF. After all, it is enough for me if the e-aperture works.

Dear Mr Wan,

We could do simple repairs and we will attempt to replace the ultrasonic motor of your 17-35 and hopefully get the AF fixed as well, so no worries! Would you mind letting me know which country you are from? Thanks.

[Clarification: we do not have the parts or expertise required to service the 85/1.4, 100/2.8, 400/4, 28-80 and 70-200 because they are NOT equipped with ultrasonic motors. Please have them serviced by Contax.]

I am from Hong Kong.

Yesterday, I contacted Kyocera and learnt that they could send my lens to Japan for repairing. It would take about 1 to 2 months before giving the repaired lens back to me. Given that you would only take new conversion order not until 1 March 2009, I thus decided to have the lens be repaired first. Any advice from you. Let's say if you could take my conversion order by come March, I would instead having the lens be converted instead of being repaired by Kyocera (obviousely if you could fix the AF as a side issue is wonderful). As I have said before, manual focusing is not a problem for me (I use on my 5D Mk II a shaved grid screen for Sony A900 for focusing)

Hi Everyone,

I just bought my first ever Canon SLR camera, a 5D MkII. I've heard a lot of good things about Zeiss glass so I decided to sign up here to learn more about the only Zeiss AF option available for the Canon camera. I've been able to use some of my Leica lenses via adapter but its still manual focus and my eyesight isn't as sharp as it once was.

regards from Singapore Wink

Hi! I am a real person and I consider buying a Sonnar 28-80 - but only if I can have it converted, of course. There is one (unconverted) up for sale, so I would appreciate if you could answer my question, if/when there is a chance. Thanks. By the way, how much is the conversion?
