For those who have been keeping an eye out for the Contax N-Mount lenses, what prices and condition of lens have you come across. For the converted one's and the Contax N-mount one's.

Some of the prices for Contax N-mounted lenses, depending on the condition, have been as follows:

28-80mm f3.5-5.6: $300
70-200mm f3.5-4.5: $575
17-35mm f2.8: $1500-$2000
24-85mm f3.5-4.5: $500 - $775
70-300mm f4-5.6: $700
85mm f1.4: $1400 - $1950
50mm f1.4: $650 - $900
100mm f2.8 Makro: $1000 - $1500

The hoods for the above lenses, if they are offered for sale, usually go for ridiculous prices. I recently saw the hoods for the 17-35N go for $350 on eBay. Standard listings go for $275 - $375 for a single hood.

24-85 hoods go for around $75-$100 and most of the other hoods, if available, are usually in the $150 range.

The Contax 645 lenses have shot up as well, but most primes can still be had for around $900 - $1350 depending on the focal length.

I recall prices before the conversion and a year later, the price has surely shot up.

Only to be used as a buying guide, so what are the current prices of the non-converted lenses currently offered for sale - new or used.

The hood for the 24~85 is included if you buy one that is new-in box.

The only thing I would add to that list is that some of the 645 lenses have started to pick up in price.

I've seen the 120 f4 Makro sell for as much as $2000. But you might get lucky and score one for about $1400. The 35mm f3.5 Distagon is now going to cost you $1200-$1400.

The rarer 645 lenses have never ceased being expensive. The excellent but rare 45-90 Vario-Sonnar will set you back $2000-$2500, if you can find one, and the 350mm f4.0 will set you back $3500+. The 55mm f3.5 Distagon, originally the least expensive lens in the line (save the 80mm kit lens) can get pricey because of it's rarity. It will cost you $1500 or more, if you find one.
